  • Project Value: £230,000.00

The Project

Pacy and Wheatley Interiors became involved with the remodelling and providing a modern and contemporary facility for the Directors of Doncaster Rovers which incorporated new toilet facilities bar trophy cabinet and total re model of the existing lounge box and seating area.
The existing facility opened for its first match on 1st January 2007 as a community stadium for Doncaster this had no allegiance to any sporting Doncaster body and therefore was designed the same and had no bells and whistles that a directors suite would require for a league one and certainly a championship club.
Following DRFC confirming the 99 year lease in 2012, the request in 2015 was to create a contemporary feel to the Directors lounge and bring a more relaxed area to the Directors box and rovers brand.

The Solution

Pacy and Wheatley proposed and option which was developed very quickly due to the new season approaching with the help of our Architect Mr Richard Taylor from ACP architects who we had worked with previously on the fitness suite within the stadium and who had designed the stadium. The design quickly progressed and started coming together with regular meetings and ideas with close liaison between ourselves and the clubs directors, the proposals and offerings had to be collated and proposed and agreed very quickly, this included everything within the design including bar designs trophy cabinets specially designed and manufactured carpets to include club Logos. New seating to the balcony with Logos within the back rest and fitted furniture, Ceiling designs and feature columns were agreed, A curved wall within the corridor to highlight the area was constructed which worked really well within the box area.
The project started and completed in 6 weeks and was complete for the first friendly game of the 2015-2016 season and was a pleasure to do the works of our home town club RTID.
This is an example of another difficult high street location completed on time and on budget to the clients full satisfaction. To discuss how we may help with your project please Contact Us.
